## Celebrate October by joining our Cybersecurity Scavenger Hunt!

Using a set of Harvard PrivSec webpages, you’ll hunt for answers to questions about how we protect information, handle data, and get help when something goes wrong. It’s a fun, low‑pressure way to learn practical tips you can use every day.

### Who can participate?

This Scavenger Hunt is open to Harvard staff, faculty and students. A Harvard email must be provided to participate and be entered into the raffle for a prize.

### Why participate?

Explore Harvard’s security and privacy resources while learning how to:

- Protect your accounts, devices, and Harvard data through essential security, privacy, and data-handling practices.
- Recognize when something seems wrong and know where to turn - whether you encounter a phishing message, suspicious MFA request, lost device, exposed data, or system misconfiguration.
- Understand Harvard’s information security and privacy expectations, including data classification, minimum standards, policy responsibilities, and privacy principles.

Great for new and experienced community members alike, and a simple way for teams to build security awareness together!

### Raffle & Prize

All participants who submit a **correctly completed** scavenger hunt by **October 30** will be entered into a raffle.

- Prize: One randomly selected winner will receive their choice of a book from our curated “Cybersecurity Bookshelf Collection” – covering security, privacy, digital resilience, and related topics.
